  1. What is Marketing:

“Deepak Kanakaraju, owner of Digital Deepak says: Marketing is based on science not on creativity. “

This is actually true. In simple words marketing is understanding the loopholes, basic problems, basic needs of your real audience, their buying nature and then assembling the various parts to design the solution for your targeted audience.

Point to not: “Marketing is not advertising”. So, make sure you understand the market and customers first,  before spending money on paid advertisement assuming that it will work as a panacea for your business”

Tip: Do competitors Research, look at what they are doing, how much they are spending, on which platform they are spending money.

  • Marketing is the process of communicating with potential customers.

Ideally,  marketing is all about communicating with people, knowing their needs, getting feedback rather than imposing your products on them.

So, start creating connections with your targeted customers, share your MVP (minimum viable product) with them, ask them for the feedback, take every feedback positively and make the changes according to the customers needs and then launch a final product.
People will definitely consider your products.

  • Marketing is a process of Educating people

What if I say, giving perks/ offers on your product and running an ad won’t help you for a long run?

It’s true this strategy works for a short time.

But, what if you will make the existing product better, educate the hot market about your products and then sell it in the market?

Buy, educating your customers about your product specifications you can gain customers’ interest, trust and at the end they will buy your product and can also recommend your products to someone else.

Because you have worked on your product,  with them,  for them only. So, you are building a positive trust of the users.  👍

So, if you are an entrepreneur and thinking of marketing your product, do market research by yourself and then ask the marketer to promote your products to the same audience which you need.

“You do not need to invest a large sum of money to bring your idea to life; simply start with an MVP and work on improving it.”

  1. Digital Marketing vs. Traditional Marketing.

Traditional marketing involves methods like TV Ads, Billboard, Printed media, Bus Shelters,  Transits – Buses, Trains, and Airplanes, direct mail marketing etc.

Let me give the KFC Print Media Ads example from year 2018:

Yes, you read it right, FCK let me explain the story behind empty buckets and different spellings of this famous brand.

This ad was actually an apology letter from KFC for his customers.

In the year 2018 KFC’s UK operations ran out of chicken. You read that correctly: a poultry company ran out of chickens. Everyone’s eyes were on the business response in this business reputation crisis. But, we are delighted to announce that KFC landed safely.

KFC took out a full-page ad in Metro, the UK’s daily, with the help of the creative agency Mother London, rearranging its three iconic initials to produce a funny response to its supply shortfall.

The advertisement shows a empathy KFC bucket with the word “FCK” written on it, as if to say, “FCK, this is embarrassing.”

So, yes this is how KFC manages the crises in a funny way. So, why get serious every time when we already know things will take time. Sometimes hilarious responses can change the game. 🤪

Okay, now story apart, in Traditional marketing you can not measure the success of the campaigns.

Most of the company will say that you will get brand awareness. But, what about numbers?

So, now to solve this problem Direct response marketing tactics comes into picture:
A separate number in newspaper ads, by accepting the leads for a specific time period (may be 9 to 10 or in late nights) are examples of this type of marketing.

  1. CATT Marketing Funnel

CATT stands for : Content, Attention, Trust, Transaction

Niche:
If you are willing to earn wealth then the first thing you need to do is choose the niche in which you want to excel and which is in demand according to the market stats.

Just use digital marketing tactics like SEO, Use Social Media Platform, Same niche reinvent Forum and start discussing the things with the people. You can also go for paid advertisement and guest post options on well established websites.

T (Trust): Now if your content is getting people’s attention Congratulations. Now it’s time to build trust with your targeted customers. YOu can use Trip wires, marketing automation and retargeting to send personalized mails/ messages to your customers.

This way people will start showing interest in your mails because you are connecting person needs and your products dots now.

T (Transaction): Once you will build the trust, now it’s time to convert your customers into leads by natural sales method. In this you can just pitch your customers for your product paid subscription or sell your course. There are chances that people will buy from you because you have already built trust with them.

  1. Integrated Digital Marketing:

In simple words Integrated digital marketing is a process of utilizing all the digital marketing parts in an intelligent way to achieve your end goals. In this process all the digital marketing efforts interconnect with each other which gives us results.

Like let’s say you are creating content for the blog section of your website and you also connected a popup of newsletter (this will help to collect your potential users email id’s)for users and social media sharing buttons(to collect data of interested users.) are also connected on the similar blog.

Now there are many ways to promote your content like By using SEO you can achieve users on your blog and ask them to sign up for a newsletter.

2) You can also use paid ads to promote your blogs and eventually get people to sign up for your newsletter.

3) Now if you have the people’s email id’s you can share your new blogs via email campaigns.

4) You can ask people to promote your blogs in SEO groups of social media or you can share your blogs in the group which you have created.

So, this is how integrated digital marketing complements each parts to get your end goals.

  1. Personal Branding: MassTrust Blueprint

Personal branding is a process of making an identity of yourself or your company in the market.

Personal branding is more than just marketing; it is also about being your own marketer. It is about standing up for yourself and your company in order to gain respect and trust from your peers and customers.

But, to create a personal brand we need to work step by step, so that we can showcase our experience in the market and build a strong presence.

To create a personal branding the first step is to select and learn a specific niche. Do not try to excel at everything, just one single small niche can also work well.

Now if you have selected your niche, start learning and working with organizations to gain the experience.

In the second step you can start writing (blog) about your own experience for the particular niche.

In the third step you can start giving small time consultations to the businesses. This is the earning part 🙂

Now start mentoring people to keep yourself updated with the trends. (Another Earning way. 🙂 🙂

Now, you have enough exercise in your field, why not hire some of the interns from your own internship programs to utilize their knowledge. Your trust level for these interns will be higher because you have guided them. (Hiring and candidate research cost and time cutting) 🙂

Now, do not rest, because this is an ongoing process. You always have to restart this cycle till the day you are in the market.

Because Phil Collins said:

“In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.”

Hope you liked the tips and tricks which i have shared in this blog. If you think I have missed something. Please tell me in the comment section. I will try to cover up the pending things. 🙂🙂
